A Professional Engineer (PE), or someone prepared to sit for the PE exam, with approximately 7 years of experience, at least four of which has been working on water conveyance and distribution system design projects.

This position is assigned to engineering and construction management projects within a mission-driven, creative, enjoyable, and stimulating work environment. The initial focus of this work will be water system infrastructure, so water work projects must be on your resume. The Engineer III/IV is fully competent to provide water and wastewater pipeline, pumping station and/or treatment facility design services. The Engineer III/IV independently performs most assignments with supervisory approval of plans and guidance on unusual aspects. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. In the future, this Engineer may serve as a task or project manager, make day-to-day decisions within or for a group and have some authority for personnel actions.
