Founder, President and CEO

Dr. Lilia Abron is President and Chief Executive Officer of PEER and a pioneer and visionary in the industry. She has built one of the largest black, female-owned and operated, environmental engineering firms in the United States. Dr. Abron’s experience spans over 45 years in planning, managing and directing environmental engineering programs for the improvement, maintenance and enhancement of the natural and built environments.

She is also the President and Founder, of PEER Africa (Pty) Ltd., an innovative design-build, sustainable development company with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.


Christian Davies-Venn, Ph.D., P.E., BCEE

Vice President and Chief Engineer

Dr. Christian Davies-Venn is the Vice President and Chief Engineer of PEER and has 37 years of experience in environmental engineering, ranging from facilities planning to design of water supply, treatment and distribution systems to odor and air pollution control.  Moreover, he is a nationally recognized expert in process modeling, enhanced nutrient removal, anaerobic processes, and biosolids management.

Dr. Davies-Venn is a licensed Professional Engineer in five states and the District of Columbia. He has served in several roles as Principal-in-Charge, Technical Advisor, and Program Manager for numerous projects throughout the United States.  Dr. Davies-Venn is the recipient of the Water Environment Federation William D. Hatfield Award, in recognition of his outstanding performance and professionalism in the operation of a wastewater treatment facility. 


Diana Tucker Harrison

Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer (CFO/COO)

Ms. Diana Tucker serves as PEER’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for managing the company’s finance and business operations, which includes human resources, information technology and administrative services.

With over 22 years of business experience, Diana has worked with both large organizations and small businesses in the areas of engineering, operations, finance, strategy, sales, marketing and Six Sigma.

Diana earned a Chemical Engineering degree from Purdue University and an M.B.A from the University of Southern California.

John M. Corliss, Jr., P.E.

Vice President and Director of New England Operations 

Mr. Corliss serves as the Vice President at PEER with more than 30 years of experience developing and positioning architectural & engineering-related projects for success.  Mr. Corliss’s work on multidisciplinary projects and his management, process, and team-building skills have led to successfully resolving numerous challenging assignments.  He has led many infrastructure development and institutional strengthening projects from strategic planning and conceptual design through design and implementation.

With extensive prior experience working in the public sector, John has a keen understanding of the needs of government officials in municipal, private and federal organizations.

John is a licensed Professional Engineer with a Master’s of Science degree in both Industrial Engineering and Public Policy & Administration.
