For more than 20 years, PEER has provided asset management services for clients like DC Water and WSSC through various contracts. The PEER team has in-depth experience developing/implementing/maintaining a Wastewater Collection Asset Management System, showcased by our ability to: evaluate the condition of the assets; define a standardized data structure; geo-rectify the data; quickly and efficiently gather and upload the data into the system; perform field investigations when source data is ambiguous; and, automate the prioritization of maintenance activities.

We have also provided public outreach, involvement, and coordination services for environmental-related projects for District Government agencies and other entities, such as DC Water and its predecessor agencies, WSSC, WMATA, DDOT, DOEE, and Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW).

Currently, our team is working on a Baltimore County and City of Baltimore Water and Wastewater Comprehensive Business Process Review project, evaluating the Water and Wastewater Capital Program and reviewing the City and County of Baltimore’s Capital Program processes.

GIS is utilized in the development of mapping for field investigations and source detection, the delineation of access plans for right-of-way sewers, preparation of mapping in support of permit acquisition, model development, and sanitary sewer rehabilitation plans.
